Port of Spain, June 12. - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, on Wednesday, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of this Caribbean nation, Dr. the Honorable Keith Christopher Rowley, as part of the official visit to this country.
During the cordial exchange, both parties reiterated the will to continue strengthening the historic relations between the two countries and ratified the interest of expanding political, cultural, economic-commercial and cooperation ties.
The moment was also propitious for the Cuban Foreign Minister to reaffirm Cuba's firm commitment to maintain cooperation and solidarity with the CARICOM countries, which has developed in many areas such as health, education, human resources training, sports, culture, construction, among others.
