Remembering Fidel Castro on the 8th anniversary of his demise

The headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Canada paid a meaningful tribute to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, on the eighth anniversary of his physical disappearance. Members of the diplomatic mission attended the tribute, as members of solidarity organizations, friends of Cuba, and Cuban residents.

During the event, Ambassador Rodrigo Malmierca recalled the legacy of the historic leader of the Revolution for Cuba and the world and the validity of his thoughts. Similarly, representatives of solidarity organizations expressed their admiration and respect for Fidel Castro.

Art and patriotism were the night's protagonists, highlighting the immortal figure of our Commander in Chief.
