The National Vice-President of the All India Trade Union Confederation (AITUC), Singh Haridwar, participated in the activities programmed in Cuba in celebration of International Workers' Day.
During his stay, he took part in the International Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba and Anti-Imperialism, where he emphasized the historical ties of friendship between the two peoples, and reiterated the solidarity of the people of India with Cuba in its struggle to put an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the US government against our country.
He also held a cordial meeting with Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, secretary general of the Cuban Workers Central (CTC), in which they reviewed the state of relations between the CTC and AITUC, while highlighting opportunities to strengthen the work and collaboration between the two trade union organizations.
