The Second Secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in Liberia, Carmen Maury Toledo, was received at the headquarters of the Movement for Progressive Change (MPC), by its Secretary General OR 'Neal Passawe.
The executive expressed his willingness to work with Cuba, mainly in areas such as the training and preparation of young people in the health sector, able to cover the deficit of health personnel in rural areas of the country. He thanked the visit and offered some elements about the work projections of the political organization, in view of the October electoral process.
For her part, the Cuban official presented a brief review of the historical cultural ties, of collaboration and friendship between Cuba and Africa, and ratified the commitment of the Cuban Revolution to the continent. He also explained aspects of the history, organization and functioning of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and its role in the direction of society and the Cuban State.
