The Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), Ambassador Dra.June Soomer, will participate in the thirty-seventh session of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the most important biennial meeting of the regional organization, which will take place from May 7 to 11 in Havana.

Before her departure to Cuba, the Cuban Ambassador held a broad exchange with the Secretary General, who expressed her satisfaction for attending this important event and exhibiting the activity of the ACS to contribute to development strategies in the context of the commitments of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
