Solidarity with Cuba reiterated in Toronto.

On Sunday, the Canadian-Cuban Friendship Association Toronto (CCFA) held the last Executive Board meeting of the year, which called for the lifting of the blockade and the elimination of Cuba from the list of states that sponsorterrorism.

During the event, to which the Cuban Consulate in Toronto was invited, there was a rich exchange of experiences by some of its members at the Ernesto Che Guevara Brigade during their last trip to Cuba, and the work of Elizabeth Hill as president and the contribution of the new members of the board were highlighted.

The attendees ratified their support for Cuba and their commitment to continue denouncing the unjust sanctions of the U.S. Government against the heroic Cuban people.

The Consul General, Jorge Yanier Castellanos, thanked the attendees for their uninterrupted support and solidarity with the Cuban Revolution every single year and acknowledged the positive incorporation of young people to the board of directors. 

In addition, he took the opportunity to congratulate Elizabeth for her leadership and dedication to solidarity with our people.
