We deeply appreciate this invitation and convey the congratulations of the Communist Party of Cuba.
We also congratulate you on the political advances achieved by the Communist Party of Austria in recent years.
United by a vision that a better world is possible, our most powerful weapon is organized international solidarity. That is why we greatly appreciate the work of the Party, its youth, and other Austrian’s organizations in support of solidarity with Cuba.
We also thank you for the support you have given in our struggle against the genocidal and criminal economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba, as well as against the inclusion of my country on the unilateral and spurious list of States that allegedly sponsor terrorism.
Every voice that speaks the truth about Cuba, every action that denounces the genocidal blockade against my country, is a vital counterweight to the machinery of lies and coercion imposed by the US government. The link between our parties, and between our youth organizations, is the guarantee that this solidarity will advance and achieve concrete results.
We encourage you to continue and intensify your work. To continue strengthening the ties between our parties, to promote the truth in political and media spaces, and to accompany us in our struggle for a more just, democratic, and equitable international order.
Comrades, your struggle is also ours. Let us continue to build, together, the path toward a world of peace, justice, and solidarity.
