Dear Martina Ableidinger,
I would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Mayor of the city of Vienna, for the donation of 10 urban solid waste collection trucks, in the framework of the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of the city of Havana.
The historic cooperation between Havana and Vienna is strengthened with this significant donation, which will contribute to make the Cuban capital a cleaner, more real and wonderful city.
Several actions are deployed in Havana to honor the half millennium anniversary of its foundation, to be celebrated on 16 November, 2019.
For years, seeing Havana clean has been one of the aspirations of those who live, visit and want it from a distance.
That is the reason why I reiterate our gratitude to Vienna´s city hall, for such an important donation that adds up to and complements the immense efforts and all the work in progress in the Cuban capital, to change the reality that we still face today in the management of urban solid waste.
