STOP THE US OIL BLOCKADE AGAINST CUBA!
Since the beginning of the year, oil supplies to Cuba have almost completely stopped. The US is intensifying its blockade policy, which not only sanctions Cuba, but also countries that trade oil with Cuba.
This is causing massive fuel and electricity shortages: long power cuts, restrictions on public transport, reduced production, and shortages of fuel for aircraft or garbage collection. Hospitals, water and sewage systems, and food supplies are directly affected, as almost everything depends on imported energy.
A humanitarian catastrophe is being deliberately accepted and Cuba is being systematically pushed into crisis.
The blockade is intended to generate political pressure and force a long-term change of system. Since the revolution, Cuba has been a socialist model opposed to Western capitalism, and it is precisely for this reason that the country has been subjected to constant economic attack for decades. Those who do not submit to the global market are isolated and punished.
Since the 1960s, the United States has blockaded Cuba economically and financially. This blockade has been repeatedly tightened and expanded over the decades. Therefore, the current measures are not an isolated case, but part of a long-standing policy of isolation.
However, the current oil embargoes mark a new escalation. Cuba's future is being deliberately undermined in order to impose US interests in the region.
US imperialism is once again showing its true colors: those who do not submit will be forced to do so. This pattern has been repeated throughout the history of US interventions and embargoes in Latin America.
We cannot stand idly by while Cuba slowly bleeds to death. STOP THE US BLOCKADE AGAINST CUBA!
