Once again, the pan-Arab channel Al Mayadeen offers its platforms to Cuba and its revolution, "Simply with Aleida Guevara" is the new audiovisual proposal announced today for early 2024.

In a collaboration with the Ernesto Che Guevara Study Center in Havana, the voice of the Cuban woman, internationalist and revolutionary will reach Arab and Latin American audiences through its screen, websites and social networks.

Before the Al Mayadeen collective, Lebanese, Palestinian and Egyptian political leaders, the daughter of the heroic guerrilla, Aleida Guevara, and the president of the Board of Directors of the multiplatform, Ghassan Ben Jeddou, announced the media and strategic project.

Aleida Guevara knows that Al Mayadeen announced since its inception that it is part of the global South and Latin America is an essential pillar for its history of struggle, emphasized Ben Jeddou.

At the presentation, the prominent communicator expressed the honor of the network to offer international public opinion a space hosted by Aleida Guevara, which will include current events and personal anecdotes in a first season of 54 chapters. According to Ben Jeddou, Aleida Guevara will address people heart to heart, in a simple and sincere way, to tell the past with a language of the present, for the sake of the future. For the prestigious journalist, Al Mayadeen is also interested in deepening cooperation with the Che Center at the bilateral level.

By the way, he reaffirmed the commitment with the activist Aleida, her family and the Center dedicated to promote the study, work and life of the Argentine-Cuban fighter.

In this line of thought, he pointed out the relationship of the Cuban doctor with Al Mayadeen since its beginnings, protected by the respect of the network to the symbols of the revolutionary struggle and internationalist resistance.

With humility and faithful to the principles of the Cuban revolution, Aleida Guevara thanked the pan-Arab TV station for the opportunity to keep her father's legacy alive. "What I like is to be able to tell something more about my father's life to everyone, and if with this program many more people know Che, it will be something wonderful for me," she said.

On the occasion, the head of the Cuban diplomatic mission here, Jorge León, highlighted the possibility of bringing with this project the revolutionary work of Che Guevara. At the same time, he emphasized the friendship and brotherhood of the Al Mayadeen collective with the Cuban people and the Cuban Revolution.

Personalities present evoked the example and transcendence of Che for the defenders of the just causes of the world.
