One year has passed since that Sunday, July 11 of last year, when the United States and the transnational-controlled media made a perverse attempt to destabilize Cuba by using the anti-government protests staged by small groups of Cubans in the context of the difficult situation the country was going through due to the COVID pandemic.
On the first anniversary of that failed Washington-inspired attempt to denigrate the Cuban Revolution, I salute the Cuban people who have once again demonstrated immense resilience and steadfast determination to defend the Revolution and build socialism. Despite the illegal blockade that severely restricts Cuba from developing its full potential and puts all Cubans in economic hardship that was exacerbated by the pandemic, Cuba has been able to manufacture its own vaccines and protect its entire population.
We in India know that the Cuban Revolution, despite the genocidal blockade all these decades, has been able to guarantee its people universal and free access to high standards of health care, education, social security, sports, music and culture.
We reiterate our strong support and complete solidarity with Cuba, Revolutionary Cuba is a beacon of hope for all those who believe that another world is possible!
From this distant country, which has always maintained ties of friendship with you, you Cubans receive our greatest respect and our solidarity!
Cuba Vive!
