Vienna, December 1, 2021. The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. from the Embassy of Cuba in Austria, Marlen Redondo Falcón, held a fraternal meeting with the Deputy Mayor of the city of St. Polten, Harald Ludwig, and with the Schorn family, a friend of Cuba.
At the meeting, they discussed the organization of the art exhibition dedicated to the Cuban Revolution, which will take place soon at the St. Polten museum. Works by Hubert Schorn and original photographs from the Thomas Schorn collection will be exhibited, included in his book "The History of the Cuban Revolution", which will be launched within the framework of this event.
The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. explained the recent achievements of Cuba in confronting the COVID-19 pandemic, which allowed the reopening of the Island to the world and the return of children to schools.
At the meeting, the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba for 60 years and further intensified in the context of the pandemic was denounced.
The participants ratified their solidarity and sympathy for the Cuban Revolution and the people of Cuba.
