Third Secretary of the Cuban Embassy exchanges with young people from India.

 

New Delhi, March 15, 2022. The Third Secretary of the Republic of Cuba in India, Malena Rojas Medina, participated in a Round Table on "Intercultural Communication in the 21st Century", as part of the Conclave Transforming Narratives: India and Ibero-America, organized by the International Council of Global Youth of India.

During the exchange with the young people, the Cuban official recalled the historic moment when the foundations of friendship, solidarity and cooperation that have united Cuba and India for more than six decades were laid. She stressed the willingness of both nations to strengthen bilateral relations, as well as to expand political dialogue, trade and economic ties. He also expressed his gratitude for the expressions of solidarity of the Indian government and people demanding the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US government on the Cuban people.

The event was also attended by diplomats from the Embassies of Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic in New Delhi.
