Tribute to Che in Austria.

Tribute to Che in Austria.
Vienna, October 9-
Under the persistent rain of the Austrian autumn, the figure of Che stood victorious and luminous for the people who, this Monday, paid homage to him in the Danube Park as part of the 56th anniversary of his physical disappearance in Bolivia.
The Cuban Embassy in Austria, members of the Austria-Cuba Friendship Association (ÖKG), friends of the diplomatic corps accredited in Vienna and Cuban residents gathered in front of the monument to Ernesto Che Guevara to reaffirm the continuity of his legacy and remember one of the most universal personalities.
A wreath, flags and the image of the Heroic Guerrilla decorated the activity, in which participants agreed on the greatness of the legacy of the Argentine internationalist.
The Cuban Ambassador, Pablo Berti Oliva, recalled Che, his personality, his responsibility and leadership, and the magnitude of his figure for Cuba and for all men and women around the world who follow his example. He reaffirmed that Che lives and that with optimism in the future and in the definitive victory of the peoples, we will continue to defend his ideals.
On his part, Michael Wögeres, President of the Austria-Cuba Friendship Association, said that the figure of Che was key to the rapprochement with Cuba and the establishment of ties between our countries and that, today, his imprint accompanies the work of the ÖKG, which is made up of people who accompany the historic emancipatory struggle of our people.
With shouts of "Hasta La Victoria Siempre" and "Che Vive", the attendees at the commemoration revived the guerrilla spirit of Che and the Cuban revolutionaries, as symbols of resistance and determination that are not intimidated by the adverse climate when it comes to Cuba and its Revolution.
