Visit Canada Minister of Industry of Cuba

Ottawa, June 14th .- A delegation chaired by the Minister of Industry of Cuba, Salvador Pardo Cruz, is visiting Canada from June 11 to 16 to participate in the International Economic Forum of the Americas, known as the Montreal Conference and in the Global Petroleum Show in Calgary.

In the framework of the Montreal Conference, the Cuban Minister held talks with the Prime Minister of Quebec, Philippe Couillard, the Minister of International Relations and Francophonie, Christine St-Pierre, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Pierre Arcand, as well as the ministers of Education, Economy and Security of the province, among other personalities. The program to be developed also includes meetings with entrepreneurs and potential investors.

The Cuban delegation also includes Rosell Guerra, director of Renewable Energies of the Ministry of Energy and Mines; Ciro Monné, official of Ministry of International Trade and Investment; Julio Garmendia, Cuban ambassador to Canada; Mara Bilbao, Cuba's consul general in Montreal and Cristina Ramos, Commercial Economic counsellor of the Embassy.
