Visit to the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec

The Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Susana Malmierca Benitez paid a courtesy visit to the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec, the Honorable Manon Jeannotte.

The occasion was propitious to exchange on the development of women in Cuba and the results achieved by our country in this area were recognized.  

During the meeting, the impact of the U.S. blockade on Cuban society was denounced. In addition, they exchanged on the cultural events in the Caribbean nation for the Francophonie Month.

The Consul General had the opportunity to sign the guest book, where she thanked for the welcome and stressed the importance of the visit to continue strengthening the relationship between Cuba and Quebec.
