Zimbabwe present at International University Congress 2024

Harare, January 30, 2024.- The Charge d'Affaires of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Ambassador Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, held a meeting with the Zimbabwean delegation that attended the International University Congress 2024.

Cuba and Zimbabwe continue to strengthen ties in the educational sector. The Southern African country was represented by Ms. Rebecca Kaviya, Director of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development, as well as directors of three universities of that sister nation.

The delegation completed an intense program of activities that included a meeting with the Cuban Minister of Higher Education.
