José Daniel Ferrer García departs from Cuba at the request of the government of the United States

The Cuban citizen José Daniel Ferrer García, accompanied by several members of his family, who are also Cuban citizens, has departed from the national territory of Cuba this October 13, 2025.

 

His departure from Cuba for the United States takes place in response to a formal request by the government of that country and the express consent of Ferrer García and in compliance with all law enforcement formalities established between both countries.

The current U.S. administration, which today has exactly one month left in the White House, has done nothing to move away from the line of reinforced blockade and economic suffocation of Cuba that was left as a legacy by the Republican administration that returns to the Oval Office in January.

 

The Parliament of Dominica unanimously demands the end of the blockade against Cuba and its exclusion from the list of State sponsors of terrorism.

Roseau, December 16, 2024 - In session held this Monday, the Parliament of Dominica unanimously approved a resolution demanding the immediate end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against the people of Cuba. Likewise, it requests the removal of Cuba from the list of State sponsors of terrorism, qualifying this measure as unjust and contrary to the spirit of justice that should prevail in the international community.

 

Cuba and Dominica strengthen ties with historic exchange and collaboration agreement at the party level.

Roseau, December 13, 2024. - In what has been defined as “a significant milestone” in bilateral relations between Cuba and Dominica, the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) signed this Friday an exchange and collaboration agreement. The ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Dominica Labour Party, in the nation's capital, and was attended by the Cuban Ambassador to Dominica, Miguel Fraga, and the Secretary General of the DLP, Cassanni Laville who signed the document.
