Roseau, Dominica - June 27, 2024 - In a gesture of strengthening cultural and friendship ties, the Cuban Ambassador to Dominica, Miguel Fraga, paid an official visit to the Kalinago territory. Authorities and members of this community, one of the last indigenous populations in the Caribbean with about 3000 people, received the ambassador with great hospitality and pride.

The Minister of Health, Welfare and Social Services of Dominica, Cassani Laville, accompanied by the Ambassador of Cuba, Miguel Fraga, received at the Douglas-Charles International Airport a new group of Cuban health collaborators who will join the Cuban Medical Brigade that provides services in the island's health system.
