Cuba and Dominica strengthen ties with historic exchange and collaboration agreement at the party level.

Roseau, December 13, 2024. - In what has been defined as “a significant milestone” in bilateral relations between Cuba and Dominica, the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) signed this Friday an exchange and collaboration agreement. The ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Dominica Labour Party, in the nation's capital, and was attended by the Cuban Ambassador to Dominica, Miguel Fraga, and the Secretary General of the DLP, Cassanni Laville who signed the document.

Cuban collaborators arrive in Dominica to boost agricultural development.

Roseau, Dominica - December 11, 2024- The Minister for Health, Wellness and Social Services of Dominica, Cassani Laville, together with the Ambassador of Cuba, Miguel Fraga, welcomed at the Douglas-Charles International Airport a new group of Cuban professionals who will join the Cuban Medical Brigade providing services in the so-called “Island of Nature”.

We have been following with great concern the swift evolution of events in the Syrian Arab Republic, which has led to the overthrowing of the government of Bashar Al Assad by opposition armed groups.

We strongly call for the preservation of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of Syria as well as respect for the integrity and security of diplomatic missions based in that Arab nation.

Cuban collaborators arrive in Dominica to boost agricultural development.

Roseau, Dominica - December 6th, 2024 - In a ceremony held at the Douglas-Charles International Airport, Cuban Ambassador Miguel Fraga and officials of the Ministry of Agriculture of Dominica welcomed a group of Cuban collaborators specialized in agriculture, who will join the development programs on the island, known as the “Nature Island”.

In a dialogue with the people of Lajas, the President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez referred to the results of the elections in the United States.

For us, the results of these elections are not new. It was a foreseen scenario, he said:

It was a probable scenario and we had been preparing for that scenario.

The Head of State referred to the totally asymmetrical relationship with the government of the United States, because they have imposed a blockade on us for more than sixty years, he recalled.
