Foreign Minister says Cuba favors exchanges with the U.S.

Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said today on his Twitter account that the Caribbean nation favors exchanges with the United States in all spheres and expressed the wish that the procedures for this can be carried out here.

The foreign minister expressed the hope that "Cuban artists, academics and athletes will be allowed to obtain visas in Havana to attend events" in U.S. territory.

New regulations for the transportation sector reported

Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila, Minister of Transport, informed that Decree 83, with complementary regulations, was published in the Extraordinary Official Gazette No.16, which updates the current legislation on the transfer of ownership of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, their commercialization and importation.

While speaking in the informative program "Mesa Redonda", the Minister pointed out that the measure is part of the will to empower the economic actors, eliminate obstacles and favor foreign investment.

The solidarity bridge that mobilized a mother from Cuba

Our sincere gratitude for their support and renewed call for the lifting of the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade against the people and government of Cuba, the top Cuban diplomat wrote on Twitter.

Fidel Castro's inauguration as Prime Minister of Cuba commemorated

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel recalled today that on this date in 1959 the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, assumed the post of Prime Minister, a few weeks after the triumph of the armed struggle.

In his Twitter account, the President said: "The Commander in Chief of the Sierra Maestra signs as Prime Minister on February 16, 1959. The guerrilla leader becomes a statesman and opens the way to the laws expected by the people".
