Peace advocates in Jamaica ratify compromise with World Peace

KINGTON, JAAMAICA, September 26, 2016.Inspired in the International Peace Day and the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, established by the United States and observed during September 21st and 26th, near a hundred advocates of these noble causes from different nations of our region, appealed to achieve the total elimination of nuclear weapons in an irreversible, transparent manner, based on the multilateral agreements, and honoured the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as Zone of Peace.

Jamaica welcomes new Cuban collaborators in Education

KINGSTON, JAMAICA, August 29th, 2016.- During this Monday afternoon, August 29th, a new group of 21 Cuban teachers arrived in this capital to be part of the Educational Brigade in this sister nation.

Rafael Muñiz Guillén, Coordinator of the Educational Brigade in Jamaica, and Mabel Rodriguez Morera, in charge of Collaboration Office at the Embassy of Cuba, were present during the warm welcoming, as well as officials from the Ministry of Education of Jamaica.
