This morning, the Cuban Ambassador to this Federation David Rivero Pérez, received on a courtesy visit Gayle Gray-Phillip, Head of the Open Campus of Unversity of the West Indies in Saint Kitts and Nevis, located in Basseterre.
As part of the community activities carried out by the Association of Graduates in Cuba, this Saturday a group of graduates of Cuban universities met on the island of Nevis, accompanied by the Ambassador of the island, David Rivero Pérez, to deliver food aid and hygiene products to ten socially disadvantaged families.
Following up on the meeting held between the Ambassador of Cuba David Rivero and the Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and Climate Action of this Federation, Dr. Joyelle Clarke, a second working meeting took place, this time with the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Sharon Rattan.
Larry Vaughan, Head of the Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit in Saint Kitts and Nevis, paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of Cuba to this Federation, David Rivero Pérez, who extended warm congratulations for his recent accreditation as Ambassador to CARICOM, on March 13.
On Monday morning, Dr. Ladislao Taquechel Lescaille, president of the Association of Cuban Residents in this Federation, was received at the Cuban Embassy in St Kitts and Nevis. He was given preliminary information about the VI Regional Meeting of Cuban Residents in Latin America and the Caribbean, to be held next June in Venezuela.
