The Ambassador of Cuba in the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, held a meeting with the President of the Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Arts, Prof. Achilles K. Emilianides, at the premises of the Embassy.
The Cuban Embassy in Cyprus will be temporarily closed on 29 June 2024, due to staff holidays.
During the period in which the Embassy will be closed, the Cuban Consular Section in Rome, located in Via Licinia 7, CP 00153, Rome, will exceptionally attend to requests for consular services considered urgent. To make contact, please send an e-mail to: consulado3@ecuitalia.it.
The Cuban Embassy in Cyprus will resume its services on 14 August 2024.
Yesterday, 4th June 2024, the closing of the second edition of the Iberoamerican Film Festival in Cyprus was celebrated with the collaboration between the Iberoamerican Embassies (Brazil, Cuba, Portugal, Peru and Spain), the Cervantes and Camoes Institutes and the Association of Friends of Cinema, this year inaugurated by the Embassy of Brazil.
In the auditorium of the Cine Studio of the University of Nicosia, Cuba closed the second edition of the Festival with the film "Habanastation" (2011).
