In a fraternal message sent to Castro Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Andros Kyprianou, General Secretary of the AKEL Party, expressed the unreserved solidarity of the political organization and of the Cypriots with the people, the party and the government of Cuba, after the passage of Hurricane Irma.

Fraternal meeting of Aleida Guevara with Cubans and Latin Americans in Cyprus.

Nicosia, July 3, 2017.

During the weekend, Dr Aleida Guevara maintained an intense program of activities in Cyprus. In the morning of Saturday 1, at the Acropolis club in the city of Nicosia, a meeting was held with Cubans and Latin Americans residing in Cyprus, in which representatives of Cyprus, Spain and other countries were also present. After a tour of the installation, a lively exchange took place, answering several questions from the participants.
