The Deputy Director General for the Americas of the European External Action Service (EEAS), Pelayo Castro Zuzuárregui, held a meeting with the Director General of Bilateral Affairs of MINREX, Carlos Miguel Pereira Hernández, during his working visit to Havana. The meeting led to a broad exchange on the fourth cycle of implementation of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement between Cuba, the Union and its twenty-seven member states (ADPC), which is at a very advanced stage with concrete results in its various areas. During the meeting, the parties agreed to work on the development of a Roadmap that will contribute to the follow-up of the actions agreed in the political dialogues and the cooperation subcommittee already carried out in the current cycle.

The Official Mourning established as a tribute to the 13 brave and selfless soldiers who died in the Military Region of Holguín, will extend from 06:00 hours until 12:00 at night, on January 20, 2025. This Monday, at nine in the morning, in the Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Calixto García, in the province of Holguín, the posthumous tribute ceremony for the combatants will take place.
