Cuba pays tribute to the founding father of Namibia in Finland
The Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, reiterated from Finland the message of condolences to the Government, people and family of the founding father of Namibia, Sam Nujoma, upon his recent physical departure. In a subsequent meeting with the distinguished Ambassador HE Mr. Charles B. Jobson, the historical ties that unite both countries were confirmed, due to the brotherhood between their historical leaders Fidel Castro and Sam Nujoma, and the support for the just causes of the two nations, such as the defense against the blockade of Cuba. The Cuban diplomat thanked her for her heartfelt message and took advantage of the moment to share the Island's gratitude for the recent declaration against the blockade adopted by the African Union in its most recent meeting.
