It was a special morning at the farewell meeting with the Finland-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group at Eduskunta - Riksdagen. Ambassador Beatriz Parra González took the chance to share with them an update on the US administration's recent campaigns against Cuban medical cooperation and the tightening of the blockade, whose impact on daily life is significant in the country. The Caribbean representative shared her gratitude to the President of the group MP Mr. Jouni Ovaska for his collaboration with Cuba during this period. Also to members like MP Mr. Ville Skinnari, MP Mrs. Inka Hopsu and Mrs. Katia Nolvi, the secretary of the Group, for all their collaboration.

The Vietnamese Ambassador to Finland, HE Ms. Binh Pham, highlighted this Thursday the historic and close ties that characterize the political, cultural, and commercial relationship between Havana and Hanoi. During the meeting organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Helsinki to recognize the performance of the Cuban representative, Ms. Beatriz Parra González, in the context of the end of her mission in this Nordic nation, Ambassador Bihn also highlighted Cuba's role on the international stage. Likewise, the Vietnamese diplomat emphasized in her remarks the collaboration received from the Cuban headquarters since her arrival and noted significant moments in the bilateral relationship between the two countries. The Cuban Consul, Adalberto Ávila Parra, was also present at the farewell meeting.
