Coinciding with a new anniversary of the restart in 1895 of the struggles for the independence of Cuba, and on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, the Greek edition was presented in Athens, on the night of last Saturday, February 24 from the book “Aldabonazo".
Organized by the Philological Association of Imathia and the Cultural Company of the Municipality of Veria, in collaboration with the Embassy of Cuba, a “Cuban Cinema Day” was held on February 9 and 10, which was held at the Antoniadeo House in Letters and Arts, with the attendance of a large audience.
The regional vice-governor of Imathia, Mr. Konstantinos Kalaitzidis, received the Ambassador of Cuba in Greece, Aramis Fuente Hernández, who made, in recent days, a visit to that Region of Central Macedonia. The president of the Imathia Philologists Association, Mrs. Eugenia Cavalari, was also present.
The Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Imathia, Mr. Apostolidis Stefanos, received at the headquarters of that Institution the Ambassador of Cuba, Aramís Fuente Hernández, who paid a visit to that Region of Central Macedonia.
The mayor of the city of Naoussa, Mr. Nikos Koutsoyiannis, received the Ambassador of Cuba in Greece, Aramis Fuente Hernández, who paid a visit to that town, Central Macedonia Region.
