Athens, 19 September A mass event of condemnation of the unfair economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba was held within the framework of the 45th Communist Youth Festival of Greece (KNE), in a central park in the Greek capital. The event was held in greeting the 60th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, under the title "The Cuban Revolution is Not a Bed of Roses, It is a struggle between the past and the future", paraphrasing the words of Fidel Castro. During the event took the floor Paschalis Kagiannis, a member of the International Relations Department of the KNE; Cuba's ambassador to Greece Zelmys Maria Dominguez Cortina; Nikos Karandreas, President of the Cuban Hellenic Association of Friendship and Solidarity in Athens and Aris Evangelidis, Head of Latin America in the Department of International Relations of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE).
