Excellencies: Allow me to mention that it has been thanks to a technical miracle and the support of the Secretariat that Cuba has been able to participate in this video-conference. It so happens that the website that hosts the platform of the Association, through which all participants are able to connect to this important meeting, has denied access to Cuba for reasons of the blockade imposed by the United States against our country.

Athens 13 March. A photographic exhibition illustrating the love and admiration of Cuba's National Hero, José Martí, towards Greece was opened to the public this morning at two Athens Metro stations. The exhibition is called "José Martí with Greece in the Heart", with photos of the counselor and consul of the Embassy of Cuba in Greece José Oriol Marrero Martinez and texts in Spanish and Greek, from the book of the Counselor, about what Martí has written about those places in Greece that is in the photos.

Athens, 9 March. The Athenian radio station ERT Open interviewed the counselor of the Cuban Embassy in Greece José Oriol Marrero Martínez, author of the photographic exhibition "José Martí: with Greece in the Heart", which he made from his photos of places in Greece from which José Martí wrote in his works. This is part of an even unpublished book by the counselor, on "Martí and the Greek".
