Education and Science in Cuba was highlighted in Greece.

Athens, 25 January. The magazine "Selidodaiktis" for education and society organized in Athens an important event on "Education and scientific advances of the Cuban people: an experience worth discussing”. The documentary Maestra, by journalist Catherine Murphy, about the literacy campaign in Cuba was screened, and the filmmaker was interviewed on Skype. In addition, Giota Ioanido, responsible for the magazine's editorial commission; Zelmys Maria Dominguez Cortina, Cuban ambassador to Greece; and Natasa Terlexi, of the José Martí Cultural Association of Friendship with Cuba were also spoken.

Athens, January 20: On January 19, Diethnes Vima (International Forum), which has published multiple books on Cuba, organized a discussion on the validity of the Havana Declarations (1960 and 1962) in today's world, in greeting the 61st anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban revolution. Between the presentations and the interesting discussion, the floor was taken by a representative of the publishing house, the ambassador of Cuba in Greece Zelmys Maria Dominguez Cortina, the counsellor of the Embassy José Oriol Marrero Martínez, the president of the Hellenic Cuban Association of Friendship Nikos Karandreas and Natasha Terlexi of the publishing house and the José Marti Cultural Association.

Athens, January 19 The Cuban Orchestra Passion of Buena Vista with its musicians and singers accompanied by dancers from "The Group for dancing" performed on January 18, 2020 at the Christmas Theater of the Olympic Stadium of Galatsi, in Athens, capital of Greece.
The ambassador, the counsellor, other members of the Cuban Embassy in Greece, Cuban residents in Greece and friends of Cuba present at the show greeted the artists.

Inauguration Centre Our America in Athens

Athens, December 15th. An event held that inaugurated the Center of Our America in Athens. Organized by Lukia Konstantinou and Vaguelis Gonatas, the center promotes culture, Spanish language and topics of interest about Latin American countries.
The activity involved more than 60 people from different sectors of Greek society interested in Latin America, also diplomats from Cuba and Venezuela, led by the ambassadors of both countries.
The afternoon was enlivened by the performance of Cuban musician resident in Greece Remy Mailan.
