Since their arrival in Türkiye, members of the Cuban Medical Brigade have been assisting the Turkish people in the early hours of the morning and left for two camps with survivors of the earthquake, located in towns in the province of Kahramanmarash (epicenter of the first earthquake): Afşin and Elbistan.
With the aim of contributing to the improvement of the working conditions of the Cuban Medical Brigade, the President of the Cuba-Turkey Friendship Association "José Martí" Nahide Özkan made a donation of various items for the use of Cuban doctors.
The Cuban medical brigade integrated by members of the International Contingent of Doctors Specialized in Situations of Disasters and Serious Epidemics "Henry Reeve" that arrived in Turkey to provide assistance to the victims of the earthquake of great intensity that affected this nation last February 6, was located in the Necip Fazıl Şehir Hospital located in the city of Kahramanmaraş.
Once again Cuba's solidarity becomes a reality by sending to Türkiye a Cuban medical brigade belonging to the Henry Reeve International Contingent of Doctors Specialized in Situations of Disasters and Serious Epidemics that will assist the population of Türkiye after the devastating earthquake that has claimed more than 20,000 deaths and dozens of wounded.
A medical brigade made up of members of the Henry Reeve Contingent, travels to Turkey to attend to the victims of the earthquake that has caused great human and material consequences.
