At the Contemporary Arts Center "Doğan Taşdelen" in the city of Ankara, the Cuba-Türkiye José Martí Solidarity Association, together with the Cuban Embassy in Türkiye celebrated the 64th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in an emotional act in which once again the end of the U.S. blockade of Cuba was demanded.
The Embassy of Cuba thanks the brothers of the Cuba-Türkiye José Martí Solidarity Association for their congratulatory message and their support in the struggle against the U.S. blockade of our country. The text of the message states: The Cuban Revolution Continues on its Way; Happy 64th Anniversary! On this first day of 2023, the 64th anniversary of the revolution, our promise to Cuba will be to strengthen our solidarity against the imperialist siege.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs ofTürkiye on its tweeter account posted a message congratulating the people of Cuba on their national independence day, where it is expressed, " We congratulate Cuba's Independence Day and sincerely greet the friendly people of Cuba".
The Deputy Director General for the Americas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye H.E. Ramis Sen received Dr. Alejandro Diaz Palacios, Ambassador of Cuba with whom he held a working meeting to assess the progress and development of bilateral relations and the potential for development between the two countries, particularly in the economic and commercial spheres.
A series of lectures on the history of Cuba and its revolutionary process began last December 13 at the Neighborhood House in the town of Ayrancı, in the city of Ankara. The "José Martí" Cuba-Türkiye Friendship Association has organized these lectures, which will last until January 3, 2023, as part of the activities the 64th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
