Deputy Minister of Trade of Turkey receives the Cuban Ambassador.

Ankara, January 9, 2020. The Deputy Minister of Trade of Turkey, Gonca Yilmaz Batur, received this afternoon the Cuban Ambassador Luis A. Amorós Núñez at the headquarters of the related ministry in this capital.

At the cordial meeting, both parties reviewed the state of bilateral economic-trade relations, evaluated joint efforts to consolidate the referred links based on the existing potentials and the common interest of both countries, and defined guidelines to expand these ties.

Turkish Foreign Minister receives the Cuban Ambassador.

Ankara, October 3, 2019. Turkey's Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, received today the Cuban ambassador, Luis Alberto Amorós Núñez, at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry in the Eurasian country.

At the cordial meeting, priority aspects of bilateral political and economic relations were reviewed. Both representatives agreed to positively assess the status of these links. In addition, they took the opportunity to exchange on topics of common interest in international politics.

Drug regulatory authorities of Cuba and Turkey sign cooperation agreement.

Ankara, September 12, 2019. The General Director of the Center for State Control of Medicines, Equipment and Medical Devices of Cuba (CECMED), Dr. Rafael Pérez Cristía, and the President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TITCK) Dr. Hakkı Gürsöz, signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the two entities, a ceremonial act held at the headquarters of the Turkish institution.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba begins working visit to African region.

CUBA, September 5, 2019 - The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rogelio Sierra Díaz, will start next Sunday a working visit to the African region, which includes the Republics of Cameroon, Benin, Senegal and Liberia.

As part of his program of activities, the deputy minister is planning exchanges with African counterparts, the Cuban solidarity movement, Cuban residents and personnel from Cuban state missions in these countries.
