London, 30 September 2020. The Cuba Solidarity Campaign in the UK (CSC) today launched a petition for the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to the Cuban internationalist Henry Reeve Medical Brigade. The videoconference that provided the framework for the launch was attended from Havana by the Hero of the Republic of Cuba Rene Gonzalez Sehwerert.
“Who better to deserve this recognition than Cuban doctors who make enormous personal sacrifices, far from their families and homes, their culture and their community, to work in difficult and dangerous conditions for months, and even years?”, Yaffe wondered.

This donation was purchased by "Cubanos en UK" and was made possible thanks to all the people and organizations that, in solidarity, contributed to the collection of £26,000 pounds last May.
In the afternoon of July 21, the Bolivian de facto authorities publicly informed that the facility known as “Clínica del Colaborador” (Cooperation Workers’ Clinic), which is owned by the Republic of Cuba and had been raided by law enforcement authorities on November 15, 2019, would be fitted out to assist Bolivian COVID-19 patients.
