Over £20,000 raised in the United Kingdom to help Cuba in the fight against COVID-19
More than 20 thousand sterling pounds (around 25 thousand dollars) have been raised until this Monday by the Cuba Solidarity Campaign (CSC) in the United Kingdom, to help the Caribbean island fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
"On behalf of the CSC, I want to thank all those who responded so quickly to the emergency appeal," said the director of the Campaign, Rob Miller, on Monday in a statement denouncing the impact of the US blockade against the Antillean country.
