The Counselor of the Embassy of Cuba in Cairo, Dennis Casares Benítez, held a fraternal meeting with officials of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce and the pharmaceutical sector, interested in establishing business with Cuba in that sector.
During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat made a presentation of the Cuban pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and answered the questions of the attendees.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt Tania Aguiar Fernández, participated at the invitation of the Mexican Ambassador José Octavio Tripp, in the floral offering placed before the bust of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla in the Park of Al Horreya (Park of the Latin American Próceres).
The event took place on the occasion of the commemoration of the 209 anniversary of the Independence of Mexico.
Members of the Latin American diplomatic corps accredited in Cairo participated in the activity.
