Sudan-Cuba Sign Health Cooperation Agreement

Federal Minister of Health, Bahr Idriss Abu-Garda has affirmed the government keenness to develop bilateral relations between Sudan and Cuba, especially, in health and medical cooperation.

Abu-Garda who signed, Wednesday, the Health Cooperation Agreement with his Cuban counterpart during the Cuban Health Conference, in Havana, said the government gives due concern to the promotion of the health and medical performance, adding that the agreement will achieve the targeted goals.

Changes in method of payment of consular services

The Embassy of Cuba in Cairo announces that starting from Sunday, 18/02/2018, the payment of all the consular service’s fees, will only be possible through bank deposit in the Embassy´s bank account and cash payments will not be accepte.

Celebration of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution in Egypt

On the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution, the Embassy of Cuba held a reception last December 20th that was attended by representatives of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the diplomatic corps, Cuban residents and Egyptian friends.

VII Meeting of Cuban Residents in Egypt

Members of the Association of Cuban Residents in Egypt met last Saturday at the Embassy of Cuba to celebrate its VII Annual Meeting. This occasion was useful to discuss current issues and especially the new immigration measures that will take effect from January 1, 2018.

Members of the Embassy explained the possibilities and benefits of the new immigration measures announced. Some Cubans took advantage of the meeting at the diplomatic headquarters to deepen and evacuate their doubts about some immigration procedures.

Tribute to Fidel in Cairo: Opening of the photo exhibition "Fidel Castro and the Revolution"

In the context of the first anniversary of the decease of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, the photo exhibition "Fidel Castro and the Revolution" was inaugurated at the premises of the Egyptian Center for International Cultural Cooperation. The photo chosen to head the exhibition was the one of meeting between the former Egyptian president, Gamal Abdel Nasser, and Fidel in New York, in 1960.
