Eighty-seven New South African Doctors Graduated Thanks to the Fidel- Mandela Program

Pretoria, July 5, 2019. – 87 students of medicine who took their first five years of studies, graduated in the South African province of Western Cape.

The University Walter Sisulu was the venue of the graduation ceremony of these new health professionals graduated under the South African students’ medical training programme in Cuba, initiated in 1997 after the cooperation agreement signed in 1996 between Cuba and South Africa; known as the Fidel-Mandela Programme.

South African Artist expresses Support for Cuba through Music

Pretoria,  (Prensa Latina) South African percussionist and music producer Dan Chiorboli will organize concerts in Cuba with the participation of musicians from both countries, as part of the support for the island during times of greater pressure from the United States.
 
Chiorboli is the creator of the so-called Liberation Project, which intends to honor the countries that maintained their support for South Africa during its struggle against apartheid.

Cuba and South Africa celebrate cooperation in the field of ballet and the 25th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations

Pretoria, 4 July, 2019.- The Embassy of Cuba and the Director of the International Ballet Competition of South Africa, Dirk Badenhorst celebrated a Cultural Gala with the performance of young South African and Cuban Ballet dancers at the Lyric Theatre of Johannesburg.

The show was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Cuba and South Africa cooperation, particularly in Ballet, and the 25th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations.

US Actions against Cuba doomed to Fail, South African Leader
