Maseru, 13 June 2025. As part of the 46th anniversary of bilateral relations between Cuba and the Kingdom of Lesotho, officials from the Cuban Embassy in South Africa, which is also accredited to Lesotho, paid a working visit to the kingdom to review the main issues in bilateral relations. They held fruitful meetings with the Ministries of International Relations and Health.

The Forge, a meeting place for students and intellectuals in the centre of Johannesburg, witnessed today the enduring relevance of Ernesto Che Guevara's thinking and his great influence on the Cuban revolutionary process. It was clear that Che also lives and thrives in Africa. The cold winter did not deter the nearly 50 people who gathered there to talk about the heroic guerrilla fighter.

During the exchange, they followed up on the main issues of bilateral relations in the sector and both advocated for the deepening and expansion of the ties.
Kempton Park, 31 May 2025: To celebrate the 62nd anniversary of Africa Liberation Day, the Cuban Embassy in South Africa participated in the Fair organised by the African Diplomatic Corps, alongside the Nicaraguan and Venezuelan embassies. The stand shared by the three countries was characterised by folklore, history, music and Latin flavours.
