April 27, 2023.- The Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, participated in the celebrations held in Klerksdorp, North West province, on the occasion of the National Independence Day. The President of the Republic, Cyril Ramaphosa, as well as other government authorities also participated.
April 26, 2023.- The South African Company, Mzansi Ballet, directed by Dirk Badenhorst, premiered the show "The Gold Rhino of Mapungubwe" which features talented Cuban dancers graduated from the National School of Art. This amazing piece of art highlights the importance of keeping history and traditions alive.
April 24, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, participated in the tribute to the former president of the ANC, Oliver R. Tambo, on the 30th anniversary of his death. The tribute was presided over by the President of the Republic, Cyril Ramaphosa and the Premier of Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi.
April 22, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta, concluded a visit to the province of Limpopo, where he completed an extensive program of activities. This included meetings with officials and the leadership of the provincial government, as well as the main political forces. The Ambassador held exchanges with the Premier and the PEC.
April 21, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, who is visiting Limpopo, met today with the South African senior traditional leader Thovhele Midiyavhathu Tshivhase. Solidarity with the Caribbean island prevailed at the meeting. The participants condemned the criminal and genocidal blockade that the United States maintains on Cuba.
