Havana, May 05, 2023 - The meeting of G77 and China Tourism Ministers was inaugurated this Friday at the Havana Convention Palace, with the presence of Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero. South Africa was represented by the deputy minister of the sector, Fish Mahlalela.
Havana, May 04, 2023 - Ministers and senior officials from the culture sector of the countries of the Group of 77 and China are meeting this Thursday at the Convention Palace in Havana. At the opening of the meeting, the Cuban Minister of Culture, Alpidio Alonso, is expected to speak on behalf of the country that is currently leading the organisation.
Havana, May 03, 2023 - The first International Congress on Cultural Heritage, which will be held from the 3rd to the 5th of May, began today in the Cuban capital with the presence of more than 150 participants from 16 countries. South Africa will be represented by the CEO and the Chairperson of Freedom Park, Jane Mufamadi and Hlengiwe Christophina Mgabadeli.
Havana, May 02, 2023 - The Friends of Cuba Society in South Africa (FOCUS) was present at the International Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, that was held on Tuesday at the Havana Convention Center.
April 28, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, participated in the tribute held in the city of Johannesburg to the South African communist and great friend of Cuba, Chris Mathlako, who recently died. Ambassadors from other countries and multiple South African organizations also participated.
