Pretoria, November 17, 2022.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, received today a delegation from the SACP Greater Tshwane District. The main representatives of the organization in the district participated in the meeting, as well as the leadership of the Youth Communist League and representatives of the veteran’s committee.
Pretoria, November 15, 2022.- The renowned and prestigious newspaper Cape Times, based in Cape Town, published the article "Us embargo is the permanent pandemic for Cuba" by the Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, about the recent vote in the United Nations on the Cuban resolution against the embargo and the effects of this cruel policy in the lives of Cuban men and women.
Havana, November 14, 2022.- The Deputy Minister of the South African Department of Public Works and Infrastructure, Ms. Noxolo Kiviet, is on an official visit in Cuba, to participate in the 38th Havana International Trade Fair, FIHAV 2022. She is accompanied by senior government officials and a business delegation from that African country.
Pretoria, November 13, 2022.- The Embassy of Cuba in South Africa participated in a public lecture about Agostinho Neto, held in Freedom Park, as part of the celebrations in honor of the African leader's centenary.
Havana, November 9, 2022.- Cuba is preparing a Citizenship Law and, for the next legislature of Parliament, draft laws on Passport and Immigration will be submitted for approval, Ernesto Soberón, general director of Consular Affairs and Attention to Cubans Resident Abroad, affirmed in Montevideo ( Daccre), of the Foreign Ministry of the Island.
