Havana, November 7, 2022.- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel evoked the impact of the so-called October Revolution, the first socialist experience in the world that established a bipolar balance.
185 countries voted in favor of lifting this inhumane policy against the Cuban people and only The United States and Israel voted against it, reaffirming their isolated position. The Embassy of Cuba in South Africa reiterates its gratitude for the valuable support of South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini.
Pretoria, Wednesday 2 November 2022.- The South African Communist Party (SACP) stands with the people of Cuba and their government ahead of the United Nations General Assembly vote calling for the end of the illegal and criminal blockade imposed by the United States government.
The Friends of Cuba Society (FOCUS), a volunteer organization of South Africans which seeks to promote solidarity with the peoples and sovereign government of Cuba, condemns the ongoing, cruel, illegal and immoral economic blockade by the USA against Cuba.
Pretoria, October 31, 2022.- The Embassy of Cuba in South Africa participated in the farewell ceremony for 10 South African students from the Gauteng province who will begin studying medicine in Cuba through the Nelson Mandela-Fidel Castro Academic Training Program.
