Kigali. On the morning of April 25, Dr. Vicente Biruta, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda received the style copies from Tania Perez Xiques, designated Ambassador of Cuba not resident in that African country.
During the meeting they evaluated the implementation of mechanisms to strengthen working relations between the Foreign Ministries of both countries.
Kampala. This morning, Dr. Anita Atwine, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health of Uganda, received at the headquarters of that institution, the BIOCUBAFARMA delegation that participated in the Pharmaceutical and Health Care Exhibition held in Kampala on 22 to March 24.
In a fraternal atmosphere, she received information on the Business Portfolio of that Cuban Business Group and exchanged information on the possibilities of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by the Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques.
Kampala. Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the Royal Danish in Uganda, Mr. H.E. Nicolaj Abraham Hejberg Petersen.
Both diplomats exchanged on the bilateral cooperation projects of Denmark and Cuba in the African nation.
Kampala. This morning, Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques signed the condolences book on the occasion of the death of the Honorable Jacob L. Oulanya, who was Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda.
Oulanya, as he was known, was a prominent Ugandan political leader. Under his enthusiastic leadership, work projects were born that contributed to the strengthening of parliamentary relations between Cuba and Uganda.
Kampala. Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of Italy, Mr. Massimiliano Mazzanti.
During the meeting they highlighted the historical relations between Cuba and Italy, and in particular the excellent state of current bilateral relations.
