Cuba reiterated its commitment to international criminal justice at the 18th Assembly of the States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC)

European Parliament a shame, charges Cuba

The Mast, 1 December 2019. CUBA has told the European Parliament that its threats and meddling in the island’s internal affairs are not needed. Last week on Thursday, the European Parliament approved by a majority vote a resolution demanding the immediate release of Cuban counterrevolutionary José Daniel Ferrer. But Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MinReX) explained that Ferrer was a mercenary in the service of a foreign power detained for acts of violence, disruption of the public order, and illegal acts.
