Saudi Minister of Tourism begins a brief working visit to Cuba

Riyadh, May 19th - The Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Mr. Ahmed Aqeel Al-Khateeb, began a brief working visit to Cuba, as envoy of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia and as part of a tour by the Caribbean region.

Mr. Al-Khateeb, who is accompanied by a large delegation of officials from his ministry, the SFD and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will hold official talks with high-ranking Cuban authorities mainly linked to the economic and commercial sector.

Cuban President was congratulated by high authorities of Oman and Saudi Arabia on the occasion of his re-election

Riyadh, April 29th - The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermudez, was congratulated by high authorities of the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the re-election in his responsibility last April 19th.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said sent a congratulatory cable to the Cuban statesman because of his re-election for a new presidential term.

Saudi Fund for Development concludes successful working visit to Cuba

Riyadh, March 19th - A delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) paid a successful working visit to Cuba, continuing the negotiations on economic cooperation projects with their counterparts in the Island.

The delegation was headed by the Executive Director of the Local Content Sector in the Fund, Mr. Abdul Mohsen Abdulrahman Al-Khayal, and also made up of the General Director of the Loans Department, Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Saif, and the General Director of Loans Finance Department, Mr. Ayman Mohammed Al-Tulayhi.

Cuba and Yemen ratify their interest to collaborate in the field of health

Riyadh, February 22nd - Ambassador Vladimir Gonzalez met the Minister of Public Health and Population of the Republic of Yemen, Dr. Qassem Mohammed Buhaibeh, who visited Cuba in October 2022 to participate in the IV International Convention "Cuba-Health 2022” and the XV Trade Fair “Health for All”.

The head of the Technical Office at the Ministry of Public Health and Population, Dr. Mosleh Al-Toali, as well as other officials of that organization also participated in the meeting.

INRH’s President concludes a successful working visit to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, January 17th - As part of a regional tour, the Cuban delegation headed by the president of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources (INRH), Eng. Antonio Rodriguez Rodriguez, concluded a brief but successful working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that took place from January 14th to 16th, 2023.
