The Embassy of Cuba informs that, from November 1, 2018, consular services will be subject to new fees in Sri Lankan rupees.
The applicant must deposit the amount to be paid for the consular service requested in any of the Bank of Ceylon offices to Account No. 0075072609 "Embassy of Cuba".
The receipt issued by the Bank of Ceylon will be delivered by the applicant in the Embassy of Cuba, and it must contain the following information:

SRI LANKA, September 28, 2018. - Members of the Group of Friendship with Cuba of the Parliament express their rejection of the blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba, in a letter addressed to the President of that country, H.E. Mathripala Sirisena, where they demand that Sri Lanka continue to support Cuba in its fight against the blockade and take it into account during its participation in the general debate of the 73 UNGA.
SRI LANKA, September 10, 2018. - The Honorable Vasantha Senanayake, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Juana Elena Ramos Rodríguez, at the Foreign Ministry's headquarters.
During the meeting both sides exchanged on issues of bilateral and international interest, while reiterating their interest in strengthening the historic relations of friendship and cooperation between both countries.
