Canberra, 18 May. - The Australian Solidarity with Latin America (ASLA) rejected the unjust inclusion of Cuba by the United States government in the list of countries that do not cooperate in the fight against terrorism.
Canberra, May 8, 2020.- In its stellar broadcast last Thursday, the Australian public broadcasting media, ABC (Australia Broadcasting Corporation), dedicated an interview program about the Cuban medical cooperation in the world on its national radio space. Under the title “Cuban doctors are battling COVID-19 around the globe”, Australian journalist Jonathan Green had Professor John Kirk, from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada, as a special guest on his program.
Canberra, March 12, 2020.- The Cuban Ambassador to Australia, Ariel Lorenzo Rodríguez had a pleasant exchange with John Williams, Assistant Secretary of the Australian Foreign Ministry for the Pacific Division.
Canberra, February 26, 2020 - The Cuban Embassy in Australia commemorated the 61st anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution at a reception held in the city of Canberra. Federal parliamentarians, representatives of the Foreign Ministry, members of the accredited diplomatic corps, businessmen, Cuban residents and a representation of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Association attended the event.
Canberra, February 24, 2020.- The Cuban Embassy in Australia participated last Sunday in the 24th edition of the Australian Multicultural Festival, held between February 21 and 23 in the city of Canberra.
The event was attended by all the accredited diplomatic Missions that took advantage of the space to promote the most distinctive elements of their respective cultures, exhorting the public to discover the tourist attractions of the different regions and countries.
