NO MORE BLOCKADE!
On April 2015, during the Summit of the Peoples of Panama and in 2016 in various regional meetings of solidarity with the Cuban revolution, an agreement was made for visible actions to take place to show our forceful rejection of the criminal blockade.
CANBERRA, ACT – 19 February 2017 – As it is usual every year, the Embassy of Cuba participated in the Multicultural Festival that takes place in Canberra.
The National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation of the
Republicof Cuba summons to the 7th INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORTS(AFIDE), to be held in Havana, from November 20 – 24, 2017, at the Conference Centre.
The Convention’s main topic will be: “Sports and Human Development”.

The Ambassador of Cuba H.E. Jose Manuel Galego Montano denounced the United States blockade against the Island, in a recent event held at the Embassy of Cuba in Canberra and which was attended by a number of Ambassadors, Local Authorities, Members of the Diplomatic Corps, and Friends of Cuba.
